I think this is my favorite Madonna song. It was from the 1994 movie With Honors (which is a great movie). I love the song musically, and the lyrics really stood out to me from the time the song was first released because they speak of a "wounded" person and the impact another person has on them. Since I love writing relationshippy stories, stories about wounded characters who are impacted by someone else, this song became something of an inspiration to me as I thought about ideas and wrote. I still really love this song.
