Dogwood Trees

I think the Dogwood are beautiful trees. There are lots of varieties of them. I especially love the pink and white Dogwoods.

Snow

Though I don't like driving in snow, I do like to see some occasionally. It's so beautiful and bright when there is snow on the ground and on the trees. And it's kind of fun to have a snow day once in awhile if you don't have to go out. It's fun to stay in and have a laid back day. Well, except for shoveling the snow. And really I don't even mind that.

Rainbows

Rainbows are beautiful. But in addition to a rainbow being this beautiful thing God made, it is meant to be a reminder. Genesis 9:13-17 says:

13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."
17 So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."

The rainbow is an awesome reminder of God's promises to His people.

Autumn Leaves

Seeing the beautiful colored leaves in autumn is another reminder of what an awesome Creator God is! The year I was up in MN was really awesome--it was so beautiful in the fall.

Niagara Falls, New York and Canada

Seeing Niagara Falls was such an incredible experience! It is breathtaking, and a powerful reminder of what an awesome Creator we have! Seriously, how can someone see something like this and not think there is a Creator?! It was really cool to see it from the U.S. side and the Canada side. I got to ride on the boat, the Maid of the Mist, and go up on a Ferris Wheel that overlooks this. Very cool to see Niagara Falls from different perspectives. I took the picture on top, and the one below it was one I found online.

Sunsets

Sunsets are amazing--such a reminder of what an awesome Creator we have! My year in Minnesota, I often went to the lakes at sunset. The picture on top I took at Clearwater Beach, FL. And the bottom pic I took outside my house a few years ago.
