Bath and Body Works

Another dangerous store for me! I love the lotions, body washes, sprays, etc. that they have at Bath and Body Works. My favorite scents are Vanilla Bean Noel (available only at Christmas), Warm Vanilla Sugar, Rice Flower and Shea, Coconut Lime Verbena, (and really any of the coconut scents). I also dig the line they have that have products bearing names "Energy," "Stress Relief," and "Sleep." The Sleep products some of which are chamomile, and some lavender vanilla are supposed to relax you and help you get a good night's sleep. They even have a pillow mist which I have used and love. Lots of great stuff in this store.Monday, April 6, 2009

Bronner's--Frankenmuth, Michigan
Bronner's, billed as the World's largest Christmas store, was founded by Wally Bronner in 1945. It is quite incredible--all the ornaments, lights, nativities, trees, other decorations. An awesome thing about Bronner's is the Silent Night Memorial Chapel. I'll always remember walking along the path outside the chapel and seeing the words of "Silent Night" in all different languages. Very powerful.

Union Station--St. Louis, Missouri

St. Louis Union Station was once the largest and busiest rail terminal in the world. It now has many stores, restaurants, and a hotel. This is a fun place to go as there are novelty kinds of shops, St. Louis souvenir stores etc. There is a Hard Rock Cafe, Landry's, and Houlihan's just to name a few. And the Fudgery is awesome--not only do they make fudge, they put on little shows getting the people who are watching to participate in cheers, songs, etc. You can see some beautiful architecture at Union Station too. Definitely worth visiting.http://www.stlouisunionstation.com/

Archiver's

This is a dangerous store--dangerous in that I can easily spend a lot of money there! There is tons of stuff to choose from for my scrapbook projects--all different kinds of papers, stickers, etc. It is so much fun to look at everything. Archiver's sends coupons, so usually about every month, I get a coupon to get a few free sheets of solid color paper. So that's nice. But really they're luring you there, cause they know once you get in that store, chances are pretty slim that you're walking out of there with only a few sheets of free paper! My mom and I really enjoy going to this store together and picking out stuff. Saturday, April 19, 2008
World Market

Since I love different cultures and different countries, I love this store which features stuff from all over the world. There are dishes, rugs, furniture, plates, candles etc. And my favorite section--all the food and candy. It is so much fun to try food and candy from other places. I also enjoy looking at all the different kinds of wine they have. This is a unique store, and it is always a treat to go there.Thursday, April 17, 2008
Disney Store

Since I am a kid at heart, I love going into the Disney Store. I love Disney World. I love Disney movies. So it is cool to check out all the Disney merchandise--shirts, stuffed animals, etc. And usually whenever I go to the Disney Store, I buy some Disney dollars to put away for my next trip to Disney World. The Disney Store is a fun place.Thursday, February 21, 2008
Barnes & Noble
I love Barnes & Nobles for the same reason I love Borders—they have so many things I love—books, CDs, movies, magazines, coffee, etc. A lot of people have a preference between Borders and Barnes & Noble, but I don’t think I really do. I love both stores, and shop at both. And it’s nice because if one store doesn’t have a specific thing I’m looking for, I’ll just go to the other one. Barnes & Noble is a store I can spend a lot of time in; I always find plenty to look at.Borders
I love books. I love music. I love movies. I love coffee. So a store like Borders is incredibly awesome. I actually get overwhelmed sometimes when I’m in there (but in a good way) because there is so much stuff in there I am interested in and want to look at. I can easily spend hours in a store like Borders. I can also easily spend a lot of money there! Borders is a very happy place! Wednesday, February 20, 2008
Trader Joe's

Trader Joe’s is a grocery store, but is unique. They have brands and food items you can’t find in your typical grocery store. I like some of the ethnic foods they have there. I love the guaca-salsa they have there, and I love to try different wines. When looking for cheap wine (that is good), you can’t really beat Charles Shaw wine that they sell (or “3 buck chuck” as it is often called). It is always a treat to go there and find new things to try. And the prices are VERY reasonable.Visit the website.

Eddie Bauer

Eddie Bauer has become my favorite clothing store. I love the dress shirts there, and I especially love that they are wrinkle resistant since I hate ironing so much! The clothes can be a little pricey, so I look for things on clearance, or ask for gift cards for the store for Christmas or my birthday.
