8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."Moses speaks these words as Joshua gets ready to succeed him in leading the people of Israel. I find these words so comforting. Wherever we go or whatever situation we are going into, the LORD goes before us; He is there. It is so reassuring to know the LORD never will forsake us.
