23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.This passage is such a key one. It reminds us we are all sinners. We all fall short and can do nothing to merit salvation, forgiveness etc. We are justified or declared righteous totally because of God’s grace. Christ redeemed us with His holy, precious blood and with His innocent suffering and death.
