3 The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.Everlasting love. What an awesome thing to ponder! That's our God's love for us--a love beyond comprehension, something we cannot grasp with our small minds. But it's real and the only thing we can really count on. And it's so important in a world where everyone wants to focus on their own efforts, that we remember it is God Who draws us.
