Airplane!

Airplane came out in 1980. This is one of those silly spoof movies. It spoofs mostly disaster type movies, but also some others too. There are many funny moments in this movie, but trying to tell them here wouldn't really get the humor across--you just have to see it. When I need something really silly to watch, something you can just laugh at and not think too much about, this is one of the movies I go to. And through the years, I've found different things funny different times I've watched the movie.

The dialogue probably everyone remembers from Airplane:
Ted: Surely you can't be serious.
Dr. Rumack: (deadpan) I am serious. And don't call me Shirley.
