There's an excitement about Christmas Eve--right on the verge of Christmas, pondering Christ coming into the world. I love Candlelight service on Christmas Eve--hearing the message of Christ's birth, singing those familiar Christmas hymns, and finally singing "Silent Night" by candlelight. That is always so powerful to me. And also, it is fun to be with family on Christmas Eve--to enjoy a meal together and then open some presents.
