Such a fun John Hughes movie featuring the Griswald family and their adventures as they travel (by car) from their home in Chicago to the Wally World amusement park in CA. Clark (played by Chevy Chase) has such good intentions, but tends to go overboard in trying to guarantee a fun filled trip for the family. Things just kind of happen to the Griswalds--odd interactions with family members like Cousin Eddie and Aunt Edna, getting lost and ending up in a bad neighborhood, driving off a road, an unfortunate dog incident etc. I love how Clark wants to stop off and see these quirky things like the House of Mud and the second largest ball of twine. I would totally like to take a trip around the country seeing all that quirky kind of stuff!
