I watched this again the other night. I love this movie! All the music is excellent (I have the soundtrack too), and it is an interesting account of the life of Eva Peron and a look at that piece of Argentine history. Madonna does a good job, and Antonio too. One of my favorite parts in the movie is when they do "Goodnight and Thank You." I sing that one sometimes (when no one is around) and I sing some of the other numbers too.

"Guide Me, O Thou Great Redeemer"
Guide me, O Thou great Redeemer,
Pilgrim through this barren land.
I am weak, but Thou art mighty;
Hold me with Thy pow'rful hand.
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven,
Feed me till I want no more; Feed me till I want no more.
Open now the crystal fountain
Whence the healing stream doth flow;
Let the fiery, cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through.
Strong deliv'rer, strong deliv'rer,
Be Thou still my strength and shield; Be Thou still my strength and shield.
When I tread the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fears subside;
Death of death and hell's destruction,
Land me safe on Canaan's side.
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever give to Thee; I will ever give to Thee.
Text: William Williams
Music: John Hughes
I bought a CD recently that has a great recording of this hymn--a choir belting it out, very powerful. I've had it stuck in my head quite a bit. It's great thing to have stuck in your head. What an awesome prayer to our God. This reminds me the Lord is always with me, that He is always leading and guiding me. And that He will bring me to my eternal home.

Caribou Coffee
This is my favorite coffee place. Sadly, there are no Caribou Coffees near me right now. But whenever I go up north to see my dad and friends, I usually make it a point to stop in and get a coffee or cocoa at Caribou. I really like the atmosphere, and when I'm able to, like to spend time sitting in there for awhile. When it's winter, sitting by the fireplace, sipping coffee, listening to music on my mini-iPod while doing some writing is awesome. I really like the drinks at Caribou better than Starbucks. I've gotten the Campfire Mocha a lot. The other day I got a cold drink--the Heath one. Or if I don't want coffee, the white hot cocoa is fantastic. Sigh. I wish they had Caribou down here. It's awesome.

Vanilla Lime Yankee Candle
This candle is awesome! "the creamy richness of vanilla with sweet cane sugar and a zesty lime twist." Great summer scent.

Bailey's Chocolate Bar
This bar is located in St. Louis. I have wanted to go to this place for quite awhile, and I finally was able to last week. Any chocolate lover will totally dig it. The atmosphere is awesome, and the drinks and desserts are incredible. I had the signature martini hot (tastes like hot chocolate with a kick) and tried the brownie with Bailey's ice cream and caramel sauce. I can hardly wait to go back!

Hamsterviel
Hamsterviel is a character that is in Stitch the Movie and Leroy and Stitch. This character cracks me up! I love the way he talks. It's really funny in Stitch the Movie when he yells, "I am iiiiirrrked!! Though he is a villain, he's a pretty cool villain!
