This was a really cute movie about a brilliant chef who ends up raising her niece and develops feelings for her sous-chef whom she initially dislikes. I thought Catherine Zeta-Jones was great, and she plays the kind of character I like to write—someone who puts up walls and is afraid to trust, but eventually learns it’s good to let people in. I would have gone a little deeper with some of the stuff, but I thought the movie was quite enjoyable and touching too. What an awesome God we have! Not only does He give us forgiveness and salvation through Christ Jesus, but He also blesses us in so many different ways in our everyday lives. This blog is meant to celebrate various people, places, and things that enrich my life, bring me happiness, or make me smile. There will be a wide variety of things on here, and they are not listed in any order of importance. Some are simple pleasures; some go deeper than that. This is the stuff I dig!
