I used to play hearts with friends when I was college age. Recently I got into playing it again with some friends up in the Chicago area. It's a trick taking game, and basically you don't want to end up with points. Any hearts you take are worth a point each and the Queen of Spades is worth 13 points. But if you can take all those points it's called shooting the moon, and everyone else gets 26 points. It's really a fun game. And one of my most recent times playing, I shot the moon 3 times.
