This is a popular sandwich served in the Buffalo, NY area. Weck is short for kimmelweck or kummelweck, which is a roll similar to a Kaiswer roll, but it is topped with salt and caraway seeds. Roast beef is on this sandwich and it is often served with horseradish (or at some places gravy). It is really good! When I was in the Buffalo area, I had a few of these at different restaurants. They were all a little different from each other, but all were excellent. What an awesome God we have! Not only does He give us forgiveness and salvation through Christ Jesus, but He also blesses us in so many different ways in our everyday lives. This blog is meant to celebrate various people, places, and things that enrich my life, bring me happiness, or make me smile. There will be a wide variety of things on here, and they are not listed in any order of importance. Some are simple pleasures; some go deeper than that. This is the stuff I dig!
